The Central Queensland coalfields continue to deliver for civil and mining company NRW Holdings.
NRW has released details of multiple contracts expected to return around $270 million.
It gets better for the company with a variation in subsidiary Golding Contractors’ five-year mining services agreement with Jellinbah Mining.
That’s expected to earn the company an additional $160 million at the Jellinbah East coal mine.
It includes operating and maintaining a second 600-tonne excavator and 220-tonne rear dump truck fleet to mine pre-strip overburden.
This takes the full scope of the agreement there to two, 600-tonne mining fleets and is effective next month.
There’s more for the company with subsidiary Action Drill and winning a $52 million contract with Batchfire Resources at the Callide Mine.
The five-year contract for blasthole drilling services has commenced and will utilise a workforce of around 40 personnel, according to NRW.
Action Drill and Blast has also secured a 12-month extension to a supply agreement with Dyno Nobel Asia Pacific for a Bowen Basin mine valued at $30 million and a drilling services agreement with a Central Queensland mine with an estimated value of $28 million.
